When lion spirit animals warn about challenges
This spirit animal could point to one of your weak spots or a difficult situation you’re experiencing. The lion animal spirit guide is perhaps showing you the way to deal with the issue and keep going with the courage it also embodies.
Lions could also represent an authority that may feel overpowering or a conflicting relationship with power and authority. When you see a lion as a spirit animal, it could symbolize external power, authority, forces that dominate or rule parts of your life. For instance, if you dream about a scar or threatening lion, it may remind you that you need to deal with an overbearing boss, partner or teacher in your waking life.
Lion spirit animal, symbol for anger & personal struggle
Seeing your lion spirit animal could be an invitation to control your temper or your moderate aggressive impulses. For instance, observe if you could really listen to what people have to say before striking back at them. Or explore how to express your needs or anger more openly and constructively to reduce your level of frustration.
If you are dreaming of being chased by a lion, it may represent a situation that brings about personal struggle. Common dream scenarios with threatening lions are as follows: A lion suddenly appears in your dream. You feel threatened by this wild animal known for devouring its prey with no mercy. The lion is now preying on you. You’re trying to escape, but it is still behind you, chasing you like you’re about to get devoured.
Dream interpretation: Being chased by a lion
This lion dream scenario is classic. Dreaming of being chased by a lion is one of the most common themes featuring this creature in the dream world. The lion chasing you generally connects to the struggle the dreamer is experiencing regarding feelings of anger or aggression in waking life.
The dream about your lion spirit animal could point to anger you may feel towards someone or aggression that is directed at you. Being chased by a lion in a dream could be a warning from your animal totem that you’re struggling with these feelings and how to express them. The lion totem could mean that you’re having difficulties dealing with a situation where someone is mean or aggressive with you.
Scary dreams about lions
Terrorized by your lion dream?
This kind of dream is expressing in strong images what you actually feel within. The meaning of your lion dream is symbolic and likely represents the intense psychological or emotional tensions you are experiencing in your waking life. Dreaming about a lion in this way is an invitation to examine what’s happening in your life that is causing tension and despair.
Most likely, you’re facing a challenging situation or behavior that is hard to comprehend at a conscious level and the lion appears as a spirit animal to help. It may be too hard to deal with or seem unacceptable to you and therefore is rejected out of your awareness, a bit like a protection, a defense mechanism. The presence of your lion spirit animal could be a warning to pay attention to a situation or person who’s creating worries or concerns for you.
On a positive note, a terrifying lion is likely indicating that you’re in the process of becoming more aware of the issues at hand. It works as a reminder that whatever is bothering you in your waking life needs to come out in the open to be dealt with. Bring forth the courage that lion totems symbolize.
Lion spirit animals in dreams: When the lion bites you
A lion that bites you in your dream could be a warning from your spirit animal and signify that you’re feeling overwhelmed in your waking life. The source of worries could be about feelings you or someone else may have or a situation that is particularly challenging. The image of the lion bite is a strong call to look at what’s going on in your life that could feel threatening or dangerous before it really “bites” you.
Another interpretation of such lion dream is to ask yourself what is dominating your life these days and see if you can bring more balance.
Scary images of lion spirit animals and the “shadow self”
When you are scared by the presence of your lion spirit animal, whether it’s in dreams or in waking life, this could be an invitation to look at your “shadow self”. The shadow self is a part of yourself that you prefer to keep “in the shadow” or the dark. In other words, a part of yourself you would hide or reject because it’s not likeable, you or other people think it’s unacceptable, not worthy, etc.
Your spirit animal indicates the need to look at these aspects of yourself and resolve the tensions inner conflicts may create. For instance, by just starting to acknowledge parts of your “shadow self”, looking at them, perhaps understanding what they are about, what they are connected with, you can start bringing a better understanding of yourself.

Good blog post. The things i would like to make contributions about is that computer system memory must be purchased if your computer can’t cope with anything you do with it. One can deploy two RAM boards with 1GB each, in particular, but not one of 1GB and one with 2GB. One should look for the car maker’s documentation for the PC to make sure what type of memory is essential.
Where is the lion in all this
If anyone could help me with this. I was dreaming about my best friend and I after a rock concert. We were talking to people and it got later and later. After everyone had gone I noticed 2 bears, 1 with babies, a squirrel and a bobcat under the stairs where we were standing. After noticing them, I just saw my friend leap through a gate under the stairs, and when I turned around there were 2 big male lions patrolling the area. I got frightened and ran and went to sit in a corner where the fence came together. I was scared out of my mind as I heard the lion breathe into my neck, so I sat frozen in that position, then the lion brushed up against the fence and me, and sprayed me. When I woke up I was still frozen into position. If anyone can tell me what this means please.
It was a memory of being a lion and showed you your fear. To stand strong and you did see what you saw. But be careful who you tell. There are lots of you out there that are awake. There are places being built to answer your questions. It a healer of spirit changes you over 200. Go somewhere else. Healers online. Called spiritual healers. Reiki healers, cranial sacral workers. Past life, the lineage of the body, healers who remove negative attachments and blobs. And demons. Fallen angels.
I had a dream where my house had big cats all over the place and I tried to make them leave and when I had gotten most of them out. A lion came at and tried to claw me. I tried to fight it but it was overbearing and I couldn’t really do much to stop it. It was weird because all the other bigs cats left with ease but the lion seemed like he wanted to eat me
Hello I need help understanding my lion dream please. It starts off as an up and down battling between my mom, older sister and me. Others were there from my family but I know for sure the three of us were the main part. I wasn’t the one arguing it was between mom and sister, however I was under the impression that I was keeping the arguments from escalating. For some reason I also was doing a lot of crying? Then it came to a point to were it was me and mom in like a corner, with three tinted double glass doors sets on each side that were locked. What ever was on the other side was strong and I felt scared. So out of no where, I turned into a proper big male lion ( but I’m a woman in real life??) any how my mom remains behind me the whole time I was roaring at the doors. First the doors to the right, then the middle and last on the left side. I don’t know why but I was protecting each door separated as to make sure they didn’t open?? My mom was ok once I got to last door, some how I just turned back into my self. All the doors disappear and we’re like in a country where they seemed to be like someone of Asian decent. We were in a shop of some sort then a lady canme over I guess told my my to follow her. As we walked out my mom was holding my hand, started speaking their language I was at peace but couldn’t understand what was being said?? From the challenge of protecting the doors as a lion, me as a person was covered in sweat. So as we walked out holding hands ( my left in her right hand) I raised our hands to wipe the sweat off with the back of her hand??? Then the path leading to outside became brighter as we got closer and I had to wake up for personal needs ( we all been there lol) but this is the easiest I came tell my dream online. If you might know or have a clue to what it means please help!!!! Thank you all in advance
I think your dream means that you were protecting your mom and your sister. I think you feel that your sister attacks your mom In this lifetime. I also think that you stepped back in time in your dream to show a previous life with your mom in an Asian culture.
Can anyone help me interpret this? I was meditating and i saw a lion and it was crunching on something, it got up and started to leave, i followed it and the background changed to a savanna and i saw my friends and they were making fun of me and the lion roared at them but they didn’t hear. then the lion looked at me an disappeared. If anyone cold help me interpret this i would be grateful.
Hiya ???? Sounds to me like you are angry. Lions do not follow sheep. I think the lion was trying to tell you that you do not have to explain yourself to other people you feel criticised by.
The lion in your dream Is you standing up to your friends. It symbolic of you needing to get in touch with your inner lion.
I dreamt that I had a loving lion as a pet but the lion could understand what I was saying to him? Any ideas of what this could have meant?
Hey???? I think this means that you understand yourself enough to deal with your anger and fear in a healthy way.
This is so cool and helps make it clearer. I can really relate to the text, since I dreamt that a huge lion was sitting on my back and wouldn´t let me go for some time and I do feel pressured at school from the head of our department and I just happened to look into the topic of darker side of yourself yesterday. Thank you for this text!
When the lion appeared in my dream, I was afraid but tried not to show it. The lion was huge and I’m assuming it was a female because it had no mane. The lion kept getting close to me and wanted to be pet. It was friendly but I was still afraid but tried not to show it. It was kind of aggressive towards wanting its head rubbed. At some point it followed me everywhere and it was annoying. I tried to escape it but it was hard. I ran behind a door and held my body against the door. The lion was very strong and as the door came down, I ran I remember the lion getting kinda angry. It even grabbed my hand with it mouth. It was like it was upset, even angry but not enough to sink its teeth in and break my skin. I got away and started running again. I tried to go to high places, hoping it couldn’t reach me. I remember being high and looking down low at it. When it opened its mouth to growl at me there was a bottle of some kind of household cleaning solution. I was able to pore it directly into it mouth. It made him sick and slowed him down. I ran trying hard to cover my scent. My surroundings look foreign to me. I was in a strange place on a very bright sunny day. I even ran through crowds of people. I saw a big church and a wedding going on. I kept running. I ended up stopping at what looked like a crappy neighborhood. I ran up the stairs to a building because I saw people about to go in. I tried to catch the door before it closed. As I entered this lobby of the building, it had a very strong smell of urine. I could stand it. I ran out of the building, looked down the street and saw the subway. I ran up the stairs and the stairs got narrow the higher I got. Then the stairs started feeling weak under my feet. I slowly back tracked. That’s all I remember. Wth?
Hey???? The Lion is trying to tell you to hold onto yourself. Get to know yourself. You are afraid of your own shadow you feel unwanted. You are following sheep instead of being a Lion that follows no one. You are putting yourself into un wanted and dangerous situations when you give the power over your life to other people.
On my baby picture I could see a lion and a bear around me. I’m 33 now. What does it mean?
My lion bit the woman I’m with and I choked the lion and woke up. However we weren’t being stalked same house and kept running into lion
I had a dream that I was homeless with these people and we were all in this car and in front of the car was a pack of Lions. None of them wanted to attack any of us humans but as we started to drive and back up the car the Lions approached the front tires as they were still spinning. Well as the Lions got closer we started to go faster backing up and the Lions decided to play with the front tires like they were pieces of yarn or a toy or something. It was funny and cute naturally I love cats and I do get along with people who are Leo’s so I wonder if that could mean something?????
