Horse spirit animals, symbols for freedom of expression
Having a horse as a spirit animal points to how free you feel to express yourself in life. The horse is an animal that is domesticated by humans, but maintains a strong energy and drive of its own. As a power animal, it relates to your ability to express yourself freely and assertively in social environments such as work or school, or in closer circles of family and friends.
When reflecting on your spirit animal, if you see the horse running wild, it could be worth reflection on positive and negative meanings. On the positive side, a horse running free is a sign that your drive to be free and express yourself freely is strong and alive. On the negative side, a horse running wild could symbolize a part of your personality or emotions that are hard to manage and are running your life instead of you running it.

Three weeks before the birth of my daughter, with the help of my midwife I had a vision of a white horse during meditation (not something I have done before).
The horse was dying and was paralysed, lying on a forest floor. I was stroking it’s head and neck and apologising to it, telling the horse everything would ok and I was sorry that it was dying. I dealt somehow responsible for its condition but at the same time felt sure that it’s spirit would be ok. I was saddened to tears and felt a very deep connection to the horse.
In hindsight I now understand that my baby was due in the weeks before that meditation, that we had developed complications and she was stuck.
I went into labour at 42 weeks and after a failed attempt at a natural birth she was born via emergency c-section. She was stuck and was not able to engage, her head had become stuck and without modern intervention the odds are we would both have died.
She is a very healthy, very happy little girl now :). I truely wished I had trusted my instincts and listened to my white horse telling me something was wrong.
Our intuition and subconscious mind is incredible and I truely believe that more time invested in meditation and dream interpretation can help us to better understand and control/be engaged with our body on a much higher level.
Thank you for sharing that it was something I was mean to hear and it help me a lot so very greatful
This website really helped me to understand my dream. It gives very useful interpretations. Thank you!
I dreamed I was looking through a glass window and I saw this horse chained and shackled unable to move. His owner had abandoned him and left him without water or food. The horse was in a desperate situation dying of hunger and thirst. He wanted to escape and run away but the metal chain and shackles kept him constrained. I felt so sorry for him. I thought I need to give him water and carrots (because I have no grass for him) then I will cut the chain and let him go free. His owner does not deserve to own him.
I made up my mind to leave my religion. I feel constrained and it does no longer feed my soul. I want to be free from other’s people dogma and expectations.
Last night I dreamed it was a herd of horses around my house. There were horses every where and men on horses trying to gather them up but it so many they couldn’t.
I was dreaming of a Black Stallion horse. He came close to me and nozzled me. He smelled of flowers and he let me touch him. He felt like satin and his coat was so shiny. I could feel so much power and love. I did not want the dream to stop.

Last night I dreamt a larg white horse was following me every where even in a building I was scared trying to get away from it.

Maybe it’s you intuition trying to communicate with you but your afraid of what it might say? Some people have white dogs in their dreams that do the same and often it relates health or spiritually.
Maybe next time in your dream try and let it catch up to you and see what it has to say? :)
Last night I dreamt that I was in a temple, cloaked figures brought several white oxen and several black horses into the temple and one by one approached a central alter stone. Two cloaked figures restrained the animals while a third tipped a cauldron of boiling fluid on the placid beasts heads, the fluid dissolved the flesh from the heads of the oxen and horses, until a mixed herd of healthy beasts with bare skulls were lead from the temple and released into a green field to graze. The animals didn’t appear disturbed or in pain at all
Last night I had a dream I was leading a brown horse past an unharnessed white horse. When we passed it , the white horse became fearful. I wouldn’t call a horse, or anything, stupid, but I must have in the dream because then a man came on the white horse and said angryily, ‘never call my horse stupid again’.

Last night I dreamed that I was leading a grand champion stallion and it suddenly turned to me, reared and put its front hooves on my hands to hold me down and mount me in public. Strange. I’m not a horse lover but I certainly appreciate their strength and beauty.
