Horse spirit animals, symbols for freedom of expression
Having a horse as a spirit animal points to how free you feel to express yourself in life. The horse is an animal that is domesticated by humans, but maintains a strong energy and drive of its own. As a power animal, it relates to your ability to express yourself freely and assertively in social environments such as work or school, or in closer circles of family and friends.
When reflecting on your spirit animal, if you see the horse running wild, it could be worth reflection on positive and negative meanings. On the positive side, a horse running free is a sign that your drive to be free and express yourself freely is strong and alive. On the negative side, a horse running wild could symbolize a part of your personality or emotions that are hard to manage and are running your life instead of you running it.

I had a lovely dream last night, I was walking between to beautiful horses (one white & one tan colour). We were all close and I was hugging them. I remember feeling very calm, happy and safe.
I dreamed last night that I was living with a relative and a beautiful black young stud horse ended up in my barn. I’m not sure how he got there but my relative would not have wanted it there so I kept it a secret. I spent a lot of time bonding with the horse. I often hugged the horse, sat on it a few times but didn’t really ride it. The horse would follow me closely so close that I stumbled over my own feet a few times and it press it’s face against my face, chest and back. It nibble on my arm a few times and made me laugh. I felt strangely close to the stud. It would even lay its face on my chest while I laid on the ground looking up. I really loved that horse a lot. What is this horse telling me?
Antoinetta, Did you ever have someone answer you? Was this a warning dream you think?
Last night I had a dream, I don’t remember much except for the last part, I went into a field where there were horses. I think they were mostly, browns, bays, chestnuts, one or two off white ones, maybe one black one. One thing I noticed was that most of them were covered in dirt, a few had this Indian like war paint on them, the colors were, blue, red, and possibly orange and white. And almost all of them were skinny, or thin. As I walked through the herd, a healthier, cleaner, but still thin, tall bay horse followed me, he looked a little like a horse I know. I turned and saw my horse standing there, he was tan colored, (that is his real color) he had a tiny bit of paint on him, he was skinny, and covered in dirt, I brushed him until he was clean, then I woke up.
I almost know the tiger is one of my spirit animals.
But, is the horse one of them? I dream of the frequently.
Tory, I think you are simply worried about your horse, and yet have no reason to.
I was just awoken from a dream that my brother was on a horse but my brother died and then I saw my deceased father riding a horse and my dad was covered in blood and both the horse and my dad went over a cliff

When I was a freshman in high school, a black mare would appear in my room. She would stand by my bed and guard me. Not sure what from, but I would see her every night. I always thought it was a ghost because where we lived, in PA, there were lots of floods. Could this be my true spirit animal? I took the quiz and got the Butterfly, but this Horse feels so much more… me…
Any thoughts?
I firmly believe that our spirit animal is not set for life. I believe certain totems come into our life to support us with what we need. Some stay with us always, but others come and go to aid in temporary obstacles. It could be that horse was necessary to you in HS, and maybe it is the totem that you most identify with. But if you took the quiz and it said butterfly, then universal energy is sending that totem to assist you with something in the “right now” so open to it and explore what it could mean to you.
i dreamed i was at my middle school and this black horse was being beaten and when it was on the floor i was petting it to let it know i was there to help and it instantly got up and kneeled down to let me ride it and we rode and wherever my mind said to go and do it did, but it expected me to protect it from the people that were beating him. And for some reaosn i ended up arguing with my girlfriend in my dream then i appeared my this giant wooden horse and i jad a shield and sword (sort of an ancient greek style trype armor) and i was trainging.
