Can anyone help me with this mystery?  So i was at a new “friends” house he turned out to be not so nice, and he had 2 cats, growing up i never really liked cats, and they never really liked me, but one of the two cats, was drawn to me like a magnet.  Its owner was shocked because he said that “he” was never affectionate towards people ( i used the “” because i got a very feminine vibe from the cat, it was grey and had magnificent yellow eyes) Long story short that night i probably had one of the craziest spiritual experiences of my life and its changed me for the better and solidified my faith.  My quiz tells me my totem is a Butterfly which also corresponds to what happened that night, so i guess my question is, can you have 2 totems? or can someone else’s cat for some reason feel the need to guide you spiritually while in its house (owners house) even if its not your totem?

What do you mean by “spiritual experience”? What happened?

Hey Adam. My understanding is that we do have many spirit animals. Native American beliefs says that we each have 9 totem animals. Everyone has one primary animal that remains their totem for life. However, depending on what we need in life, we can feel connected to animals that can support us through that time. Butterfly would appear for someone who is in a great life transition. Hope that helps! Aloha.
