LOVE that my spirit animal is a butterfly – especially since I just had a very close encounter with a black butterfly last week – out in the garden with the dog in my back yard and this beautiful black butterfly was dancing all around me – felt like it wanted to land on me – let me get very close to take lots of pics – felt a very strong connection at that moment. Never saw a black butterfly before – or since.

Every since my Father passed 2 years ago, butterflies and images have popped up in nearly all my endeavors. Most recently meeting to a Reverend out doing marking work about his church and the work of God. When they left. I found a picture of a butterfly passage with a butterfly coming out of a chrysalis hanging from a branch with lichen patches…

I have dragon flies around me all the time not butterflies
Dragon flies land on me and appear at times of trouble and concern. Not sure why the totem butterfly came in
Maybe someone can explain this better

Your mention of dragonflies landing on you, especially at times of trouble or concern is intrusions. If you’re not familiar with The Dragonfly Story by Walter Dudley Cavert, you should read it!
