Snake spirit animals, symbols for healing
The snake is close to earth energies and represents life force. Since it’s a reptile, the snake spirit animal is reminiscent of unconscious drives and primal instincts. When the snake spirit animal shows up, pay attention to how you use your energy, and where you draw it from.
If you see the snake as your spirit or power animal, be sensitive to your healing abilities towards yourself or others. Cultivate sources of energy and support, especially as they relate to the earth and nature.
In ancient traditions as well as modern times, snakes are symbols of healing powers and opportunities. In the Greek mythology, Aesclepius, the god of medicine, is featured with two snakes climbing up a rod, the symbol of what is known today as the Caduceus.

The snake and spiritual guidance
The snake can symbolize spiritual guidance. The presence of the snake in your life often means that you are in a period of transition and it points to ways promote your personal growth.
Snake could appear as a spirit animal when you are stepping into the unknown and need support to move forward. This animal is typically close to the ground and can remind you of staying grounded as you move through changes.
Dream interpretation of snakes
When a snake appears in your dreams, it most likely acts as an animal spirit guide inviting you to look at important facts or dynamics that are impacting your life. Snakes featured in dreams often leaves a strong impression on the dreamer: Such dreams tend to be frightening or disturbing because they call on strong unconscious energy.
Whether the snake spirit animal featured in your dream leaves a positive or negative impression, its presence should be considered as an invitation to look at positive changes and transformation.
The dark side of snakes in dreams
When the snake appears in your dream leaves you with a negative feeling, make sure you consider positive meanings as well. The snake spirit animal often appears in dreams as a warning about personal struggles and the need to pay attention to things or events that are escaping your field of awareness.
For instance, when you dream of being bitten or attacked by a snake, it could mean that you need to be careful about important matters you’ve been ignoring so far. If the spirit animal featured in your dream in the shape of a snake is chasing you, it may represent a challenging situation or relationship that you have been avoiding and is pushing you around.
The bottom line is that a dream featuring a snake invites you to check what in your life is “poisonous” and to look at important matters before they sneak up on you and create more damage or difficulty.
Meditation to connect with your snake spirit animal
Take a deep breath in and breathe out. Close your eyes and let yourself relax into a peaceful state. Listen to the sound of your own breath, and allow all other distractions to drift away.
Imagine yourself standing in the middle of a lush green forest. Feel your feet firmly planted on the ground, and sense the warmth of the sun beaming down from above. Look around and find a tall, strong tree with its roots deeply embedded in the soil. This is a sacred tree; it holds great wisdom for you today if you are willing to listen closely.
Feel your body connect with this ancient tree; feel how it radiates strength and stability as you draw closer to it. Now, look up at its branches as they twist and turn up towards the sky like an ever-changing tapestry. Amongst its leaves, you spot something glistening – it’s a snake! The sun reflects off its smooth scales, creating dazzling patterns that seem almost magical in nature.

It encourages you to be more aware of your innermost thoughts and feelings and what lies beneath the conscious level of your being. Feel the grounding energy it brings, connecting you with your inner wisdom and strength. Now is the time for self-reflection – take note of anything that comes up during this meditation, whether a thought or an emotion – and explore these feelings further if need be.
As you bring this meditation to a close, feel your feet firmly rooted to the ground, and imagine a wave of energy undulating through you from your feet all the way up to the top of your head. Notice any release or expansion that comes with this wave, and take some time to just be present in this moment.
Thanks to the snake spirit animal for its wise teachings, and acknowledge all you have learned. When you are ready, slowly open your eyes. You feel refreshed and connected to the wisdom of the snake within yourself as you take this knowledge with you into your day.
An inspiring message from your spirit animal
Hear my silent whisper,
As I slither and glide,
I am the spirit of transformation,
The serpent by your side.
From the depths of the earth,
I rise to guide your way,
Through the trials and tribulations,
Of each and every day.
With my venom,
I bring healing,
And the power to let go,
Of the old and the worn,
And to welcome the new.
With my scales,
I remind you,
To trust in your own strength,
And to face your fears head-on,
With courage at length.
So heed my call, dear life traveler,
And allow me to guide,
Through the journey of self-discovery,
And to help you rise inside.

By the way, I used to see blurry things running around corners and these two children used to follow me sometimes but they were colorless. I am still able to know when someone close to me or very close to someone close to me is going to die soon. Once I knew the exact date, sequence of events and what they die from. Once I saw who was going to marry my mom too, or at least the back of his head (bald.) Can someone tell me why this is? It scares me really badly sometimes and really takes over my emotions in a very intruding way, but I don’t think I want to lose the ability.
it sounds like you my have the (gift?) of sight. i also have this curse. and yes you do want to keep it, but be warned you will see a lot of things you wont like. i made the mistake when i was young to turn my back on it. i still have it sometimes, the emotions that go with it are very intense, but its not as clear as it used to be. it has also warned me of situations in my life that may have ended differently if i had listened to them. i suggest (if you dont already) that you keep a journal of your visions, as some may take years to come true. some may not even come to pas due to the fact that by merely seeing them we can prevent them from ever coming true. if these visions happen only in your sleep, try meditating on them when you are awake. this sometimes helps me pull more visions/emotions from them.
but above all else, use it as much as you can. the more you use it the more powerful it can become. i also find that having a scrying stone helps me focus on this power.
i hope all this helps.
I know that this is strange but I often have weird dreams like this. For some reason I was floating down a river in a car with my family and we were chasing after this huge ship. There were a tonne of snakes in the water and some of them got in. I was in the trunk for some reason and running around trying to avoid the snakes because they were attacking me and only me. (the trunk of our vehicle is huge) Suddenly this on snake reared up and stiffened with its jaws open. Then it sort of fell on my while maintaining its stiffened form and landed on my leg, with its teeth sinking in. I woke up with my leg in pain but I saw this shadow at the end of my bed, very tall and darker than the rest of my room. It had a white, swirling patch kind of like liquid metal in the middle of his face and another in the middle of his chest. I have only seen this thing twice and it terrified me but I haven’t seen it in years. It disappeared shortly after I saw it. I think that the snakes saved me that night or something. Now that I have a cat, most of these strange things that I see are gone. My dog also growls when I walk him in random places so I never go in those areas. Anyways, trust your animals!
the last few days, when I am close to fall in sleep and then suddenly I open my eyes, I see for a few seconds like a head of a black snake swimming in a black water in the middle of my living-room and then disappears. these days my dear pet passed away. I feel like he was haunted by this black snake. But, I still see the snake. I am afraid that he will haunt a next one, but this time a human. I don’t know what to do to escape of this black snake I see in my house (like a real vision). I don’t even want to see such things. I don’t know what’s going on. Please, I need help!
I too have had a similar experience with a black snake. I was just dozing off, when a huge snake slithered up my bed and and tried to bite my head off. For two months after this experience he followed me everywhere, but I noticed he was shrinking in size. One day it came to me that the snake was my own fear about a particular experience that happened to me the day before it had tried to bite my head. Only I could get rid of it, and once I figured out what it was it vanished fairly quickly.
The feeling I got after I read your posting was similar to what I felt when dealing with the snake that followed me, which is why I replied to it. I think that negative energy or even spirits can disguise themselves as snakes. Or maybe that’s just how some people are able to see them. Pay attention to how you feel, or try to remember an experience that happened around the first time you saw it, really tune into your subconscious to help you understand what this is so you know how to get rid of it. Don’t second guess a small thought that crosses your mind, I find that is how manny of my “truths” come to me. And remember to try not to fear it, I know this is hard, but fear will only give it more power. I hope this helps. I feel for your situation and I hope truth and enlightenment comes to you soon.
Love and light.
No. You are stupid, don’t talk anymore please.

I am most often seeing snakes in my house in real sense what does it indicate?
Last weekend I saved a snake (turned out to be a really rare type of snake where I live :) ). He was in my driveway, so I took him up to the forest and set him free. Now this week, I’ve seen 3 dead snakes and I have buried them all. I was just wondering if this means something..? Thank you so much, have a great day :).
I had a dream of a small green snake. It had long sharp teeth. Big eyes. I at to hold on to it so tight. It swore at me and tried to bite my chest.
When I dated this guy, I used to see snakes all the time. When we broke up, I saw one in front of me after he left. Before that, I used to see snakes when we would hang out. It’s weird because I never see snakes. I wonder what that means?
I had dream where I was in I believea garden of some sort with friends looking at all the vines growing on the trellaces. I saw a black and red snake hidden in the vines. I told people i saw the snake but no one else seemed to see it. So I reached into the plants where it was to touch it just be sure i was not imagining it. It was so real. I could feel the sensation of its cool skin and feel it’s body coil under my fingertips as I touched it. I looked back up to tell everyone that there really was a snake. When I stood back up I felt that my husband was behind me. The next thing I know is I fekt something land across the back of my shoulders and neck I jumped because he thrown a snake at me. I did not see this snake but I felt it’s cool body across my neck like a scarf. It frightened me so much that I actually jumped in bed and screamed and subsequently woke up. I am having a hard time finding out what this dream could mean when someone throws a snake at you and my dreams are so real because I am aware of the actual sensations of things happening in the dream. This is not the first time I have a dream where my husband has thrown an animal at me. I had one where he threw a fish at before too from behind. Does anyone have any insight. I reallt would appreciate it. Thanks
Your husband is hiding something from you. Could be medical or alcoholism or drug abuse, or infidelity or something with money, but he’s hiding very well. Only you will be able to find out what it is. I could be totally wrong tho, that’s just my gut feeling.
I agree, that was my first impression also. He may be hiding something, your conscious mind is fooled (no one else saw the snake) but your unconscious mind sees something ‘hidden,’ and explored it (touched it),, and when you realized what the snake was, the sudden dawning surprised and scared you and threatened you (snake thrown on your neck from behind.). During the day stay present and conscious with any uncomfortable feelings, allow yourself to feel and explore them. Peace my email is YunAi.Koi at gmail dot com if anyone else wants my humble insight
A dream tells you something you are not already conscious of…describe your husband to yourself in your dream journal. Pretend you are talking to an alien who says What’s a husband? Who is ________? What makes ______ uniquely him? Now ask yourself, where are those traits in you? Are you conscious of these traits in your Self. Perhaps they’re buried or you don’t see them yet. The life partner, male aspect of your Self, in your dream is saying the red and black snake is Your Snake, your Power to heal your Self and probably other people! A trellis supports vines that follow the light. Personal growth in a garden supported by your friends and life partner in nature. Wow. You can thank the inner male aspect for throwing your snake at you! You were perfectly comfortable petting it in the trellis, but weren’t ready to embrace your power, instead fearless and curious in childlike way. Find, draw, a picture of your snake. Be wise as your serpent, trust your instinct. Go get your snake. Ask the snake what can you tell me, what do you know is true?
i had a different experience in my dream like ,i was a doctor and another doc ,(a bit forgotten) opened the lock by making his hand like a key .When i saw him chased me, he was having a small transparent white colour small tail.I ran until a fence after that he finds that i am having a same coloured tail coming out which is bigger than his tail.He scared i was a snake.
My dream was that I was in a room with a lot of ppl not of my culture.. they started to dance.. there was a guy leading the men and I started to lead the women on the singing and dancing. and I was just moving my body to the rhythm and enjoying myself not needing to go about what the normal usual dance should be. kind of started a train of dancing… then I was dancing towards the pots where there were pots with cobras in it.. they wanted to let the cobras out… then i said NOPE. I have no control over those ‘wild’ animals.. and I started to go outside and probably run … Then this HUGE SNAKE was coming at me… i was going to dodge it and jump to fly… but I stopped, and said Im going to face this. and the snake was nothing but nice to me. It said something to me but I cant seem to remember now in my waking life. but I knew it was time to face that of what use to scare me. <3 I love snakes.
You’re a snake charmer. ..
