Snake spirit animals, symbols for healing
The snake is close to earth energies and represents life force. Since it’s a reptile, the snake spirit animal is reminiscent of unconscious drives and primal instincts. When the snake spirit animal shows up, pay attention to how you use your energy, and where you draw it from.
If you see the snake as your spirit or power animal, be sensitive to your healing abilities towards yourself or others. Cultivate sources of energy and support, especially as they relate to the earth and nature.
In ancient traditions as well as modern times, snakes are symbols of healing powers and opportunities. In the Greek mythology, Aesclepius, the god of medicine, is featured with two snakes climbing up a rod, the symbol of what is known today as the Caduceus.

The snake and spiritual guidance
The snake can symbolize spiritual guidance. The presence of the snake in your life often means that you are in a period of transition and it points to ways promote your personal growth.
Snake could appear as a spirit animal when you are stepping into the unknown and need support to move forward. This animal is typically close to the ground and can remind you of staying grounded as you move through changes.
Dream interpretation of snakes
When a snake appears in your dreams, it most likely acts as an animal spirit guide inviting you to look at important facts or dynamics that are impacting your life. Snakes featured in dreams often leaves a strong impression on the dreamer: Such dreams tend to be frightening or disturbing because they call on strong unconscious energy.
Whether the snake spirit animal featured in your dream leaves a positive or negative impression, its presence should be considered as an invitation to look at positive changes and transformation.
The dark side of snakes in dreams
When the snake appears in your dream leaves you with a negative feeling, make sure you consider positive meanings as well. The snake spirit animal often appears in dreams as a warning about personal struggles and the need to pay attention to things or events that are escaping your field of awareness.
For instance, when you dream of being bitten or attacked by a snake, it could mean that you need to be careful about important matters you’ve been ignoring so far. If the spirit animal featured in your dream in the shape of a snake is chasing you, it may represent a challenging situation or relationship that you have been avoiding and is pushing you around.
The bottom line is that a dream featuring a snake invites you to check what in your life is “poisonous” and to look at important matters before they sneak up on you and create more damage or difficulty.
Meditation to connect with your snake spirit animal
Take a deep breath in and breathe out. Close your eyes and let yourself relax into a peaceful state. Listen to the sound of your own breath, and allow all other distractions to drift away.
Imagine yourself standing in the middle of a lush green forest. Feel your feet firmly planted on the ground, and sense the warmth of the sun beaming down from above. Look around and find a tall, strong tree with its roots deeply embedded in the soil. This is a sacred tree; it holds great wisdom for you today if you are willing to listen closely.
Feel your body connect with this ancient tree; feel how it radiates strength and stability as you draw closer to it. Now, look up at its branches as they twist and turn up towards the sky like an ever-changing tapestry. Amongst its leaves, you spot something glistening – it’s a snake! The sun reflects off its smooth scales, creating dazzling patterns that seem almost magical in nature.

An inspiring message from your spirit animal
Hear my silent whisper,
As I slither and glide,
I am the spirit of transformation,
The serpent by your side.
From the depths of the earth,
I rise to guide your way,
Through the trials and tribulations,
Of each and every day.
With my venom,
I bring healing,
And the power to let go,
Of the old and the worn,
And to welcome the new.
With my scales,
I remind you,
To trust in your own strength,
And to face your fears head-on,
With courage at length.
So heed my call, dear life traveler,
And allow me to guide,
Through the journey of self-discovery,
And to help you rise inside.

I had dream of very long Phython on a tree which was moving on tree. Me and my sister in law was watching him move..and spoke about his quietness…we were not at all scared.. I feel it is not bad dream.. any thoughts on the same
I had a dream last night about a huge Python that was somehow slithering across my ceiling and fell in my bed trying to get out of the house so I helped him out the window and subsequently there were two female body shaped snake ladies, whose skin was a shimmery green but their faces were women. They were trying to get out of the house as well, I helped them out for them to stand there and wave a thank you. They couldn’t speak only make noises. There was nothing scary about them or the snake they just needed help.
I started dreaming about snakes a few weeks ago and ever since i find myself having dreams every week sometimes twice or three times for the week. It’s all different dreams and different snakes. The snakes are cutting, swallowing, killing another snake. I don’t know how to interpret it.
Tried to meditate for the first time in normal haasna position with om chant on my earphones. Went well for the first 3 minutes, after i sensed negative energy/souls revolving around me. All a sudden my head start to raise above to the maximum level and i found a 5 headed snake more black-grey in color on top and pale white on bottom stood head straight to straight with me. Following it found more single headed snakes all over in my room and one snake like boa full blacked started climbing circle motion over my body as it climbs the tree. It reached my head were i lost my conscious and fell on ground. Sensed few souls and there smells were well known to me. Among the 3 souls, one was my grandma and other two am still finding out. They were started whispering in my ears. My spine started rising up, my lower body and head is on the ground and full spine curved like a bow. A sudden vibration occured in my total body, head started turning side to side, hands and total body started vibrating. Lost my conscious and trying to call my siblings who is sitting next to me through my mind. It released after 4 minutes of unconscious.
Conveyed this to my teacher were i practise tai chi, he instructed me not to perform this untill he is near with me.
I had a dream about a black snake. In the dream I was in a bedroom with about 5 or six children trying to keep the snake from biting me and them. I can remember the earlier part of the dream the snake had bitten animal and it died so I was trying by myself to keep the snake from biting and killing the children in myself. Right before I woke myself up the snakehead with under the bed and was hiding from me.
I had a dream about coral snakes following a very finalizing conflict with a family member. They were coming after my family, my friends, and myself. One could have bit me, I can’t remember. I was shooting at them with a handgun. I kept repeating the phrase “red and yellow kill a fellow, red and black you’re okay Jack” to myself, knowing that it pertains to the coral snake species. I dreamt this a few days ago and it’s still stuck with me, what could it mean?
Hello there! I had a dream last night that a Black Mamba was chasing me in the water. There were other people with me but they kept telling me that everything would be alright. I thought it was weird that they weren’t scared or that the snake seemed to not be concerned with them. I was swimming from it because I thought that it was going to bite me but deep down I knew that it wouldn’t. It almost seemed as if it was trying to help me, even though I was terrified. I’m guessing whatever it is trying to show me is concerned with my emotions, since we were in water, though there was one big rock in the water sticking out. If any of you have any thoughts on this, I would very much appreciate it seeing as I’m in a week where I’m either going to lose everything I have worked for, or I’m going to see miracles happen and become stronger than I have ever been. I’m definitely in a sink or swim/make or break time in my life. I don’t know if this helps, but today I was having a deep conversation with the Creator and in my side mirror a black feather was blowing in the wind. I have that feather now and I think it is connected to the dream.

A black feather is often viewed as relating to negative energy, but that relationship can be a warning of negative energy to come or a protection against negative energy already in place. This color feather can also symbolize death but not in a literal sense. found this on search engines. I say “let go and Let God” Change is iminent, do it with grace and humbleness. The rock-who is the rock in your life? Is it God? Relax, close your eyes in a quiet spot-not while driving=lol! Look toward the rock…is there safety there? What else do you see? I had a very vivid dream about snakes, but I was semi-conscious and knew I was dreaming.
First scene:
I’m living in a big property. It was late at night. I know there’s someone, a stranger, sneaking around in the house. I tried to warn my house mates (not sure who they are) about the stranger but they couldn’t listen. Then I saw the stranger attack my one of my housemates. After a while, I broke free of whatever that was restraining me, and fought with the stranger. I used all my strength, and could feel that I twisted the stranger’s arms.
2nd scene:
After I think I won the fight, suddenly, I’m on a river bank, a very rocky one. I woke up and saw many snakes in the river, but they were still in the water. I raised my head and saw a guy seated beside me, trying to grab the snakes, one by one. I was wondering what he’s doing when it’s so dangerous. Turns out he was harvesting eggs from the snakes. The eggs were bright orange.
Before I realised it, the snakes in the water were slithering out, onto the river banks. I saw a snake biting the guy’s legs, and wanted to warn him, but he wasn’t bothered by it lol. Then I saw the snakes were coming out from around me, and one snake rose up and stared at me. It was bright orange, like cobra I think. Then I ran.
3rd scene:
The snakes were chasing me into some land opening in the forest. Suddenly, I had many helpers who came to my rescue. I told them to erect walls, so they miraculously put up high walls of concrete to block the snakes from coming in front of us. After a while, I thought we had won because there were no more noises outside, so the concrete walls came tumbling down. Then I wondered if the snakes will attack from the sides, like a sneak attack. Alas, they really attacked from the side, but they were attacking my helpers. I was very upset and suddenly took out a gun and shot all the snakes to death. Though it was satisfying the snakes were dead, I’m upset that my friends were also killed by either the snakes or my gun.
Then I told myself to finally wake up, and so I woke up. It was 5 am.
This was a really weird dream. Hope anyone can provide some interpretations of it.
i have dreamt of a snake being pulled out of my chest thru a hole and i pulled it by the head with both my parents watcing but did not hhelp then the tail part broke off still inside me. my won and daughter woke up crying seeing a snake coming out of my mouth-WHAT DOES IT MEAN ?? Another dream i was figting a dragon spitting fire and i was not afraid
I dreamt of snakes falling on my back they were dark and one inight particular was heavy they did not bite me instead slithered on me squashing me down then left in different directions
As a young child I used to dream of a snake, it was big and frightening. Every time I saw the snake I would run and it would chase. At some point the snake would rise up and tell me to stop running because it would always be with me and I would take a stone and throw it at the snake. The fearful thing was anywhere the stone hit the snake, I would feel the pain too. The snake would hiss in pain and tell me to stop hurting myself as anytime I hurt it by throwing a stone I was hurting myself because I felt the pain at the same place too. It told me severally that we could not be separated I am you and you are me”. I never thought much about this dream till I stumbled on this site today……does this mean anything?
When I was a kid camping with freinds and family us kids went down to the river at night for some night swimming when the group of about 7 seen a snake come out of the water (I almost stepped on it right befor I did it started glowing) it was red and blue and off yellow and it was glowing and blink all the other kids were trying to cache it. Later when we grew up and I asked other kids who were there they said they dont remember it. how can you forget a blinking snake? So I thought maybe it was some weird dream but then a few years ago my nephew who is just a year younger than me he was born july 17, I was born july 16, said do you remember that snake that was glowing and blinking that was weird. So I dont know what to make of this I grew up in oregon thats were we seen the snake no poisonous snake but diamond back so not to afaid of snake always played with them.
Sometimes snakes in rivers and other water currents can pick up electricity from the torque and motion of energy in the water. This could have been leftover energy pockets inside of the snake’s body. Hope that helps.
