When I was about three I lived in big bear Cali and the where a bunch of pine trees across the street from my house and a owl lived in them every night I would “ talk” to it and it would hoot back one night it flew down to my window , turned its head side ways opened its wings a sort of bowed ever since then owls have been my favorite animal specifically barn owls ????
The owl is definitely my spirit animal. My mother always told me I was a owl. I have all the characteristics.
The owl is a beautiful creature, I’m really happy that I got it!
My sister and I saw an owl in the road we had to swerve to not hit it. We stopped to save it bc we thought it may have been Inured and the next car would have hit it if we had not. We pulled over and walked back to get the owl, he was standing up with his eyes close. She wrapped him up in her coat and we were going to take it back bc she has a farm and it was safe off the road. He was in my lap for 5 minutes and I noticed his head moving, which scared me. He then spread his wings. I love owls but I was a little terrified and was thinking that this could go really wrong. She had told me he was most likely dying before he had opened his eyes and moved his head. I would never pick up a wild animal for my own pleasure but just wanted to help. He was looking at me straight in the eyes, I felt like this was one of the most incredible random experiences and looking into his eyes was like looking into another universe. When we got home I slowly passed over the owl to my sister bc she is more used to animals having a farm, and she slowly opened her car door talking to him making sure he wasn’t nervous and trying to fly through the window. He was perched on her arm and was now in open air and he was looking back at us very calmly then he flew to the nearest tree. I hope he is ok, as much as i would love to see him again I hope he is well enough to fly from that tree and continue with his life. I will check for him tomorrow. Cannot stop thinking about this. Glad he is not hurt and we did not get hurt helping him.
