Fox animal symbolism and traditions
The fox is often associated with the dark side of magic. In a lot of cultures, seeing a fox as you start a new project or endeavor is a bad omen. In some Native American belief systems, this animal represents the practice of negative sorcery and the dark manipulation of magic powers.
The fox has long been considered as a witty, quick and intelligent. In some European traditional tales, he’s the character who outsmarts humans and other animals alike and gets away even in the trickiest situations.
Dreaming about the fox
The fox and its ability to quietly and masterfully get into the hen house, have made this spirit animal a universal symbol of being sly, cunning, shrewd, clever, tricky and opportunistic. Therefore a fox in your dreams is often a symbol to watch out for danger from around you. There may be hidden enemies or rivals waiting for the right opportunity.
However, the fox may also be a symbol of connecting to the parts of you that are cunning and clever. Is there a situation that requires a clever solution? Is there an opportunity that is just waiting for you to take it?

Meditation to connect with the fox spirit animal
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in. As you exhale, allow yourself to sink deeper into a state of relaxation.
Imagine yourself walking through a dense forest, the trees towering above you and the underbrush rustling beneath your feet. As you go along a winding path, you suddenly feel a presence behind you – a fox, with its orange and white fur glowing softly in the dim afternoon light.
You are immediately drawn to this quick and clever animal. You follow the fox as it leads you deeper into the forest path. A sense of excitement and adventure wells up inside of you.
As you continue on the path, the fox stops and turns to you, its bright eyes shining with clever wisdom and understanding. It starts to speak to you, its voice soft and reassuring: “I am the fox, the keeper of secrets and the master of disguise. I am a creature of the night, guided by my intuition. I am agile and adaptable, and able to navigate through any situation with grace and poise.”
You listen to the fox’s words, feeling a sense of inspiration and connection to the spirit of this animal. You realize that the fox represents many of the qualities that you admire and aspire to embody: quick thinking, adaptability, and a strong intuitive sense.
Take some time to reflect on the qualities of the fox and how you could embody them more in your life. How can you be more adaptable and resourceful? How can you stay alert and aware of your surroundings? How can you trust in your inner wisdom more?
As you continue to meditate and connect with the fox spirit animal, allow yourself to be guided by its message of wisdom and reflect if it has anything else to teach you.
Now, the meditation is coming to a close. Take a few deep breaths and savor the feeling of connection with the spirit of the fox you’ve experienced during your meditative journey. Exhale and visualize the fox fading away into the forest, its energy still with you as you return to the present moment.
Know the fox is always with you, and that you can call its wisdom and insight any time you need it.

We have a pond next to our house, at morning breakfast time me and my 4 yr old saw fox passing by which I have never seen in last 4 yrs living in area.my husband recently started new job.
And after two days I saw 3 foxes in my dream , they were just passing by my house.
I have seen foxes 4yrs back and after that I had issues with friends at time extreme.
I am a bit concern this time.
What this dream interprets please explain?
Trust your intuition, especially if you sense someone is not trust worthy. Observe and watch, and trust your gut when it comes to new situations is what the fox was saying to you I believe.
I have had a God that I’ve asked for protection, love and happiness since I was twelve years of age. I named this God Zooka. Last night I felt a person lying beside me whilst I slept (I live alone)& I felt comfortable & not worried.I then awoke saying martris. In the morning I researched this and it’s meaning Fox. I don’t speak polish but my father was and a translation of the word SZUKA also refers to the Fox. PLEASE help me understand this. I’m at peace with the experience however the coincidence has me perplexed. What does this symbolize?
It can mean many things, but don’t overintellectualize. If you are in peace, everything is fine. Maybe the answer will come to you, maybe not. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t matter. Only time will tell. No need to worry, no need to intellectualize. Until then, enjoy your life :)
If you want, you can send blessings to your God. Always remember to be thankful.
Last week when I was coming from spa a fox ran in front of me across the street. This was surprising, because I live in the big city (Berlin). This place, however, is very green, lots of parks and trees. But I have not seen a fox before like this!
The day was awull, because my cat died and why he died is even more awull: I feel and think that they did not take care of him in the clinic were I took him. Finally they recommended me to euthanize him and I believed. Yes, he was very sick but there were some things I just wondered… I think they killed my cat. In that clinic cats get killed snd dogs get help. There is really something wrong!
I just a minute ago remembered the fox that I saw the same day. Ladt time when I was dealing with a fox – actually many of them, I did not see them but heard their voice – was when I was traveling in Sardinia in a small group and the leaders of the group turned out to be wuite dangerous sociopaths. Then, when I noticed it, I had to be very calm, pretend snd make my escape plan very carefully. They happened to have the car keyes of the car I had rented! I succeeded to escape. But really: I was cunning as well as I could. They were dangerous people! They really were, very manipulative. They really took people’s money!
So, what conclution to make when I now saw a fox and the last experience with the fox was what it was?
That clinic is stinkng. They kill cats. There is someone who hates cats or like to see cat owners crying. In the google the opinions of that clinic were from the cat owners 1 Star – because their cats were killed (euthanized, but the owners seem to wonder, why) in the clinic, for a reason or another. Dog owners give 4-5 stars. Is this co-incidence? And now I must do something but carefully. I lost my cat for nothing, for that I trusted those people – and now I see that many cat owners are wondering as I do, what happened!
Then I see a fox!
I had a fox visit me at night a month ago and there was one that looked sickly and hungry looking for food around our deck yesterday in the afternoon what does this mean possibly?…
I do not know about your life, but in my experience there might be manipulative people around you! They want something from you (hungry fox)!
Just try to keep your boundaries very clear and do not start to argue with those people because then you reveal yourself to people to whom you can not trust and who turn your words against you and manipulate you more! Observe those people and make your actions secretly. This is what I can tell – from my experience!
Second time Ive seen a fox. Last time was a fox close by walking in Colorado (July) then just now this morning running past side of house in snow. I am facing a difficult very challenging time with my ex husband re: parenting of our children. It’s been that way for a while now. I keep praying for divine interference.
I’m always very intrigued by foxes. I draw them constantly, while seeing them in my dreams. However, what I find strange is sometimes their friends and other times are my enemies. I have summarized this in a plethora of ways and have found the solution possible the fox could be challenging me. Also when I was younger living in Oregon, I was sitting on a rock eating a lunchables when a fox walked right up to me and actually let me pet it in the woods.
Anytime an animal presents itself to you, take note that it is identified with you. In many ways that animal will guide you.
Pay attention to their messages.
I have lived here for nearly 7 years. Since February 2017, i keep seeing a lone fox with red / grey fur in my garden. yesterday at 6.30pm i spotting it curled up having a nap! only waking to assess where noise was coming from them casually returning back to sleep.
I do not understand why he/ she is here.
I recently got ‘promoted’, and going through a journey of finding my voice (after being suppressed for such a long time!), A friend said seeing a fox was good luck (spiritually), prior to this comment i just looked for s logical reason as to why fox is visiting.
Any suggestions please?
Yesterday, on 12/02/17 i was going to the bathroom, while i eas going there i saw out of our garden door a fox just sitting here looking straight into my eyes, I tought it was funny but i continued to look into hers/his
Eyes and noticed how beautiful he/she was and when my dad came because he sam the fox too amd tried to film it it ran away….If anyone knows what this is please tell me????

I saw a fox on sun 1st Jan very close up late at night going through rubbish then again at the early hours of the following day very calmly in a supermarket car park as if he was just waiting. When I came out of the stock I saw him again and had brought him some food hoping he would eat it and threw it at his direction but he just ran off and I waited for him but he didn’t reappear – does this have s meaning?
Hi, tonight I have been walking the street’s of London with my mum and We have seen three foxes on separate occasions. All sat calmly, looking straight at us as if wanting to say something. They were all healthy, beautiful specimens. Usually Foxes in the city are not healthy and it is very unusual to see three in the space of 1hr… Can you give me your thoughts of what this might mean?
Thank you
Margarita x

It does not you where most likely close to where those foxs live but If not you should have followed them
Wow, that’s a really clever way of thnkniig about it!
It means a renewal of life after death. Live, in honor of those who no longer can. Live wild and free as the fox.
