An inspiring message from the deer
Dear one, hear my gentle call,
For I am the deer, the spirit animal tall.
With grace and elegance, I roam through the land,
A reminder of beauty, simplicity and grand.
Through the forest, I move with ease,
Adapting to life’s changes with poise and with peace.
Observe my fluid movements and be inspired,
For in them, your own grace shall be admired.
With antlers, I carry the power and the might,
But also a reminder of our fragility and the light.
Embrace the balance within yourself,
For in it, true strength and peace dwell.
Dear one, hear my gentle call,
For I am the deer, the spirit animal tall.
I remind you of the harmony and interconnectedness,
For in it, true inner peace, you shall possess.

I got the Deer. While the deer does descibe me well and I have had a few encounters with them, I have been being visited by yellow garden spiders. I was watching over one in front of my house till one day she was gone and her web as well. I was saddened by this. About 2 days later I go out my back door and literally right below the porch light was a very large and beautiful yellow garden spider. I was so excited. It has to be a message or a gift for looking after the other one best I could.
Deers , stags, does and fawns have been present for the last couple of weeks. Most recently I come face to face with a stag and he greeted me with a nod. It was magestic to say the least.
I always felt Deer know me. I always thought that they were like that naturally. I’m gonna start learning about deer now.
I love the fact that the deer is my totem animal, especially with Makigic and Spirituality, because I believe in both those aspects of life and the deer brings that closer to me! I hope whatever problems your having, that your deer will make good things happen for you, Linda Clements
Couldn’t agree more, Linda!!! I was shocked at first to see my totem spirit animal is the deer. But looking back, I realize how much contact I’ve had with them in my life. I’ve always loved being in the woods. Whenever I see one, it feels almost magical!!! And I’ve definitely had my share of traumas to overcome (suicide of mother…leukemia diagnosis…etc.). Friends and family have always commented on my strength and perseverance. By the way, my mom’s maiden name was Clements (Indiana) Wonder if we’re related??? How weird would that be???
I don’t know if anyone will even see this comment, much less read it. Every single time I’m going through what feels like one of my most difficult, trying, heart-breaking times, I SWEAR to you, I walk outside on my front porch, or either go out the back door (because I’m a smoker) and there is a dear standing by the tree line across the street. Y’all, I live in town, not even in the country where seeing alot of dear are prone. I got curious tonight after I’ve had a very hard day, like one of those days where you just want to sit in your car and not walk inside and just cry. I have 2 daughters, both under the age of 10, that I have to be strong for. They can’t see me go through these heart breaking times, so I go outside to do my meditating and thinking alot. Tonight, I saw a huge buck standing there, probably 30 feet from my door steps, and then decided to do some research …. And it led me here. What really stood out to me is am I sacrificing myself for something that is really necessary in my life? Is all of this Im going through right now necessary? I needed to be here at this moment and read this ….
I see you, and your comment :) The deer is my power animal too, and showed up to support me recently. I think maybe this part is also why that buck appeared for you: “The deer spirit animal will remind you to be gentle with yourself and others. The grace and gentleness characteristic of this spirit animal echo the qualities brought forth when living from the heart.” I wish you healing and hope. I’ve been there. Keep looking for answers and moving forward.
Wow, Susan, I never imagined anyone to reply to my comment. I was just kind of venting to open air on the internet. Never imagined I’d come back to this page and see someone replied. I appreciate your advice, and I will definitely take your kind words to heart. Today has been much better, thank the Lord. Take care and thank you again. Xoxo
I hear you, too, and hope you find peace for what you’re going through. Symbolism is one way for God to connect to us. Hopefully things will work themselves out soon for you. Until then – good luck and peace.
I read it too and really appreciated it , am embracing my deer spirit animal and it is giving me renewed faith, hope same for you , cheers Dee
You’re a knower, Susan. I’m glad to see another in this page.
I read this. Thank you for sharing. Coming to this page was the result of meditation where I had a vision of a large extremely shining white stag. And this stag conveyed to me complete love and peace through staring into its eyes. May your buck always be there for you as protection and remind you of how much you’re loved.
I saw your comment. My spirit animal is the deer too, although I don’t recall ever seeing it in my dreams. I think I’ve seen a deer in real life before though. I hope things get better for you.
As a 27 year old man, I had a spiritual awakening with a White Tail Buck Deer Guide. But his antlers were mighty large and looked like branches from a tree. When in this awakening he told me his antlers are his wisdom and knowledge. Went on how i passed his test of bravory. Told me to move my eyes to the left during the trance i was in. Next to me was a Doe. I’m single. No one was in the room with me. I felt like it was all too familiar to me to experience this. I then realized i had been thru this before i was this life. So i think a deer guide is who i been following for a long time if anyone believes in regenerating from life to life
We do believe in life regeneration, Kenneth. I’ve seen my share of them I was a teen. Past lives are very vivid.
Since I was a teen*
Yes. Agreed! It really is an experience far different from any other
I was so happy when the quiz told me my spirit animal is a deer. I got to hold a baby fawn today that we came across in my family’s wooded yard. We thought it was sick or dying but it wasn’t. I held it until we saw his mom then I let him go. I’ve always liked deer, there’s just something about them. But this fits me to a tee, I’m kinda shocked how accurate it is.
I left my counseling appointment feeling very depressed and unsure if life was worth living when a deer crossed me on the road while I was driving, it stopped on the side of the road and watched me drive by. It was so trusting in me when I drove by like it knew I wasn’t going to hurt it and that I wasn’t going to hurt my self. That’s when I decided to look up the deer spirit and it fits me to a tee. I feel like it was saying everything is going to be ok.
I saw two deer in my backyard this morning. One was grazing and the other was lying down on the grass. One of the deer looked into my eyes as if it’s looking into my spirit. I was so entranced by the gaze that I can’t help but look at those beautiful animals.
This is so me!!!!!
What I miss is the mention of the deer quality in it’s many forms of appearance. Is my deer a dangerous elk who can even be a threat to grizzlies, or a Caribou who is very useful and strong in numbers, or a Reeve’s Muntjac with it’s tiny size running and hiding from everything? The analysis could be a bit more detailed. Other than that it’s a joy to read description and I found it pointing the right direction.
Btw the deer I met was called Butter
