This behavior makes the crow a useful animal totem to call when you need support in dealing with adversity. Crows have always surrounded my house but I believe that is because my mum feeds them and talks to them as if they were her pets. Ive never really taken a liking to them as their stares and unusual behaviour always unnerved me until recently.I was heading to university when at my usual buss stop there was a dead crow situated on the grass however the crow had an egg coming out of it. But poking out of the egg was a foot.
It was really quite confronting and made me extremely sad. The thing is though when I returned on the friday the crow was still on the same patch of grass bar the egg but was completely fresh looking I mean no ants or any bugs had eaten it the only thing that seemed to have died was the whole section of grass.
Is this symbolic?
my mom told me that sometimes crows can mean something like a bad spirit and sometimes have to do with the devil…
There was one afternoon that I kept noticing this crow kept following me. After taking my quiz online, I’ve noticed that I’ve been molting. My voice keeps getting higher like a crow’s call. Someone at work today even said that I hover around the water cooler like a crow. I took this quiz because I’ve felt so lonely lately after my wife left me for trying to peck out her eyes. This is Kafkaesque. Have you seen Black Swan? True life.
Crowds were around for a few months now, “talking” every day around dusk and sometimes further into the morning. I work at night so I heard them. Lately it grew into the day and sometimes afternoon. I know it was about a change, I can feel it’s coming, however, i felt it was maybe a warning, too. This last week were getting closer, circling and shrieking, I never seen them, only heard. And then – they stopped. No calls in the change of light, nor in the morning or the whole day. They are gone. What happened? I guess their delivered the message and done their job and I try to figure out what it was suppose to mean. I miss them tremendously though, tried to call them but they are silent.
Okay, the crow is back. :)
I have been seeing black crows in my yard or the last few days . some times there is Other times there is four and five . I don’t believe in those old wives tales much . bt I would like to know more abut them thanks
No one cares about your sad spirit animal. Get a real job you new age monster.
If that is how how you see this stuff why are you looking at it ? x
I remember about reading an Aesop fable about a Crow and a Swan. And how the Crow wanted to be a Swan. I remember when I wanted to be a Swan but stopped myself. I realized that being a Crow is the most beautiful thing ever. Even if it is stereotyped to be bad, it’s amazing. Besides, they’re not what they appear to be. A crow can be very loyal. Which I am. So yeah, I love Crows for now and forever.
I’ve even taken a quiz online showing, “what animal are you?” I turned out to be a Crow. Lol, the coincidence and accuracy.
Being a crow does give people a chill in their spine.
When I moved into my new home, I noticed that 3 crows patrolled my street. Then I noticed when I drove to or from work I often saw three crows flying, sometimes at work when I arrived or greeting me when I got home. Sometimes a crow will actually hover above my car when driving… Today there were three crows perched on the three church spires opposite my place of work. Once, while going to church, a black feather floated down right before me. I/m guessing the crow has adopted me as a spirit animal for sure.
I had a spiritual encounter when I was very stressed once, 3 yrs ago now. I walked out of my job that was making me so unhappy and felt crazy for doing so. I went up to the local look out point and felt a mixture of relief and craziness for just walking out like that, not saying a word to anyone. Anyhow as I was driving back down from the look out I sorta spaced out and had like an image of a crow perched on a deck then flying off into a leaveless tree. I pulled over straight after wondering what had come over me.
While about to leave on a trip I looked up in the sky as 3 crows flew over heading north. Crows are rare in my area, so I thought this might have some symbolic significance. My own journey was in a northerly direction as well.
stepped out into the sun to absorb some healing and revitalizing energy, along with my dog, louis II. as soon as i was about to go back inside, i heard the caws of a flock of crows in a tree. they were disturbed by something.
then a large bird of prey, probably a hawk, went sailing overhead with a furry animal clasped in its talons. the hawk was traveling to another tree (front yard), 100’s of yards away from the tree with the crows in it (backyard). another hawk followed the hawk with the prey.
a lone crow flew after the second hawk, echoing the caws of the flock behind it in the tree of crows. the second hawk shifted mid-flight, as if to confront the lone crow, and the lone crow retreated.
the second hawk followed the hawk with the prey into the tree. a moment, then the second hawk left the first hawk and flew into a nearby tree in the front yard (these are all old, gigantic trees, full of wisdom and magic).
when the second hawk fled, the tree of crows echoed with caws.
had the second hawk been excluded from the spoils, as the crows had been?
the crow is craftier.
the hawk is mightier.
both birds thrive.
Had a crow flying alongside my car today. Never happened before. Wondering what that means. Sure he’s trying to tell me something thanks
As long as I can remember crows have followed and watched me, most birds actuallyit’s kinda comforting
