Snake spirit animals, symbols for healing

If you see the snake as your spirit or power animal, be sensitive to your healing abilities towards yourself or others. Cultivate sources of energy and support, especially as they relate to the earth and nature.
In ancient traditions as well as modern times, snakes are symbols of healing powers and opportunities. In the Greek mythology, Aesclepius, the god of medicine, is featured with two snakes climbing up a rod, the symbol of what is known today as the Caduceus.

Dream interpretation of snakes
When a snake appears in your dreams, it most likely acts as an animal spirit guide inviting you to look at important facts or dynamics that are impacting your life. Snakes featured in dreams often leaves a strong impression on the dreamer: Such dreams tend to be frightening or disturbing because they call on strong unconscious energy.
Whether the snake spirit animal featured in your dream leaves a positive or negative impression, its presence should be considered as an invitation to look at positive changes and transformation.
The dark side of snakes in dreams
When the snake appears in your dream leaves you with a negative feeling, make sure you consider positive meanings as well. The snake spirit animal often appears in dreams as a warning about personal struggles and the need to pay attention to things or events that are escaping your field of awareness.
For instance, when you dream of being bitten or attacked by a snake, it could mean that you need to be careful about important matters you’ve been ignoring so far. If the spirit animal featured in your dream in the shape of a snake is chasing you, it may represent a challenging situation or relationship that you have been avoiding and is pushing you around.
The bottom line is that a dream featuring a snake invites you to check what in your life is “poisonous” and to look at important matters before they sneak up on you and create more damage or difficulty.

An inspiring message from your spirit animal
Hear my silent whisper,
As I slither and glide,
I am the spirit of transformation,
The serpent by your side.
From the depths of the earth,
I rise to guide your way,
Through the trials and tribulations,
Of each and every day.
With my venom,
I bring healing,
And the power to let go,
Of the old and the worn,
And to welcome the new.
With my scales,
I remind you,
To trust in your own strength,
And to face your fears head-on,
With courage at length.
So heed my call, dear life traveler,
And allow me to guide,
Through the journey of self-discovery,
And to help you rise inside.

Dreaming of a snake is not a good thing. It means you have liars, and secrets around you, maybe even an enemy.

SNAKE ISNT GOOD….
Your dreams are really night parables. Pay attention to them and start writing them down.
I’ve had two vivid dreams of snakes over the years and I’m now really thinking that a snake is one of my spirit guides.
First dream occurred whe I was 19 or so (now 36) and in my dream I was walking home from the store with a gallon of milk. I was walking on the right side of a highway (normal setting to where i actually lived and normal thing I actually did) and I saw a huge anaconda type snake ahead. I got scared and stopped. It was about 6′ long and about 2′ wide. It slithered towards me in a normal pace, energy was almost undetectable so didn’t exude harm, kindness, poison, nothing.
He (I think it was a he) swallowed my left leg up to my knee, and paused. I was lying on the dirt ground at this point and looked the snake in the face. I observed his two nostrils greatly expanding and contracting as if out of breath. The swallow took less than 30 seconds but I recall him wedding his jaws up a few times like they do and me seeing his glands and teeth (which he wasn’t using). He was brown black dark orange/brown colors with big scales. He was huge and powerful but not wicked. I recall feeling my ankle and knee break with this swallow. I ended up lying there, sitting on my rear end with my hands on the ground behind me keeping my upper body from lying down. At this point I was not afraid anymore. I looked at the snake and literally said “okay, I am dead now” and surrendered to it. I had no fear other than if I was going to feel any pain as he kept swallowing. I woke up after this.
Second dream occurred about 2-3 months ago and was of me walking somewhere in the city but hazy where or what I was doing. I see what appears to be a cobra ahead and now the ground is dark orange/brown dirt like I’m in the Middle East somewhwre. The snake speeds towards me with an intent to do somethjng to me. I was immediately scared. I didn’t run. Just stood there again. This long snake, brown, dark orange, sharp face/neck features started at my feet and coiled itself around my entire body, I during thought I was going to die. I’m 5’4″ so it was long enough to coil from my feet to the top of my head. It was about 6″ thick. It coiling all the way up my body until it’s head was pirched above mine in an astute stance of power and ownership. It’s head protruded further out than mine. It wasn’t a super tight coil but the presence was certainly that it dominated me, not in a wicked way but in a let me show you something uncomfortable even if you’re scared kind of way. I wasn’t in pain. I believe it was a message telling me it was one of my spirit guides and that I can and should proudly accept its strengths and weaknesses. It reminded me that I’m afraid of big change where I might fail but also reminded me that I am powerful like water and been able to adapt in my life against all odds for as long as I can remember.
When I was 21 I got my first tattoo of medusa on my back. She’s on upper back and is 9″ wide by 7″ tall full color. I always loved her story aince I was 12-13 so I’m wondering if she has some power connection with me or if I should look at these dreams for what other snake goddesses might be influences in my life.
I have not seen or spoken to my father in months because we have fallen out and no one in my family is talking to me because of it but I’m really scared of snakes and my dad knows it. But in my dream I told him there was a snake in the house and that I was scared so he went and got it, chased me outside and threw it at me. It was ready to eat me whole, but I managed to run away from it although it was still looking for me. Is this a positive sign or a negative warning in my life?
I saw a black snake at my back door. Is there a meaning to this besides the fact I need snake repellent?
im pho bic to snakes ok re entry I have been dreaming with snakes. One dream is that I’m in swimming pool and there suddenly there is huge snake and at first I’m afraid and scare to see it she look at me but I don’t go away I touch her and I end my dream. The second one is a coral black snake with blue stripes it start coming toward me and I walk ,backwards and looking at her the suddenly is a boy in the background and she goes away. When she see the child and I wake up. So two days after this dream as soon as I get to my job my manger had a nonsense discussion with me for no reason and get angry at her an tell whatever comes to my mouth in order to stop her acting the way she acts.
I had a bizarre unsettling dream about a snake being inside my stomach. I go to multiple people and friends to get it removed with a device, similar to the matrix lizard removal, but the device needs to be continuously pumped to remove the snake and nobody has the stamina. I start racing through a city lost, desperately trying to find a doctor to remove from me. I go from building to building, elevator floor to elevator floor and finally find someone to do the procedure. I lift my shirt and can see the snake moving inside me and the red marks of suction from previous attempts. The desperation to remove the snake never calms and I wake. I searched the net and found snake interpretations, but none related to having the snake actually inside of you. Can anyone shed some light??
The serpent lives in the womb. Never ever remove it.. it’s your father lover child protector. . It’s also part of the kudalini..raise it’s energy and it’s complete bliss. . This is a blessing. . It’s no dream it’s letting you know you are his live giver in return he gives you knowledge. Also known as the holy spirit. ..
the Jungian shadow i perceived was akin to that of the ouroboros….
im not sure of the entirety of that meaning as it applies to my person…
i thought that it was disturbing to have that validated in some way….
testing identified the snake…

… I had a dream that what appeared to be a black Cobra came flipping and writhing through the air against a wall, down behind the sofa in the living room, darted out again and came flipping towards my feet. At that moment I lunged my hand or hands down towards its head and took its tail both at the same time so that I was hold both head and tail in one hand and thus preceded to twirl it back and fourth like a cowboy lassoing a rope either-side of his body with a rope. I gradually let both ‘ends’ of the black Cobra play out so that head and tail were now draping slack more like a rope until I had reached the part of its body that was folded back upon itself. I preceded further to lasso or flail the snake back and forth ever-faster before me with one hand like I was in charge and empowered maybe in keeping its head part away from me and knowing that the side-to-side almost whiplashing action was keeping the thing imobilized and unable to react because I was twirling it around me so fast almost like Bruce Lee with a pair of Numb-Chucks.
I caught the things head and tail a few times across a rim of a cardboard box and new I didn’t want to be intentionaly cruel or sadistic to the animal so I slowed down the whirling action I was doing to it and felt that enough spins had effectively made I pass out due to the g-forces through the air and was satisfied that it was inded immobilised. What, if anything, do you think this scenario can/could symolize either for me personally or in general perhaps? (Rob Gautreaux)
