The fox has long been considered as a witty, quick and intelligent. In some European traditional tales, he’s the character who outsmarts humans and other animals alike and gets away even in the trickiest situations.

Therefore a fox in your dreams is often a symbol to watch out for danger from around you. There may be hidden enemies or rivals waiting for the right opportunity.
However, the fox may also be a symbol of connecting to the parts of you that are cunning and clever. Is there a situation that requires a clever solution? Is there an opportunity that is just waiting for you to take it?

In the woods surrounding the homes, blended in almost to the point of being camouflaged was a fox. Shortly after I realized that the puppy was missing. This may seem odd to some people, but I’ve been living in Colorado for seven years now. Ever since I had moved there, a fox would come to the back door of my house. I would look out of the window when it came, but never went out. But yesterday when it came again,so i finally went outside. I approached it slowly so it wouldn’t attack. It was two feet in front of me. So I reached out for the fox. It didn’t move. It began to wag its tail, then I pet him. I continued this for a few more minutes, then opened the door and let him in. I then walked to my room. I turned around to see the fox following me. I lie down, with the fox at my feet. That night, I dreamed about me as a nine tailed fox, and then the regular fox I had found earlier that day, by my side. When I woke up and looked at the clock, it was 5:10 am. I’ve never woken up that early before. I also felt a warmth near my upper body. When I looked at my side, I saw the fox cuddled up on me. I had this, almost like a flame burning within me. I couldn’t fall back asleep…I was so energized and I felt so happy. It has been a while since I’ve been happy like that. Does this mean anything? (I got fox when I took this test)
My long time best friend Rowdy was hit on the road 2 weeks ago.He was killed by a horrible mean old man who was speeding on my street. The man was awful to me. He hit my 80 lb dog so hard it knocked the poop out of him across the road. It took him a long time to die almost 20 mins.He was my constant companion for 14 and a half years. We did search and rescue together. He helped save ppl and his reward for his heroic service was to be killed.Last night a fox came and laid down in my dead dog’s house on his bed. It was very sick and probably dying. I had to have the DNR come put it out of its misery. We think it had rabies. (I feel bad but it was an instant death) There is a hole in my heart.I guess I am displaying an unnatural amt of grief over a dog.I live in town. Why would a fox come all the way into town, brave the large dogs,to lay down and die in my dead dog’s exact spot? Does it mean anything? Please tell me.
I had a dream & i was amongst all these foxes and i was like the leader of them, as they all followed me and new my name as if i was the master of them. could this mean my spiritual animal is a fox?
I keep seeing fox faces all the time here lately but they aren’t realistic they are made out of leaves when I look at a tree or the way a napkin accidentally got folded and how some of the material on the couch might be against the grain and look like a fox. Do I just have an active imagination?
A fox appears in a field behind my house every season. I go outside when he does and I smile at him and then he wags his tail. It seemed like he was responding to my smile. Then we both leave. We were not close but close enough to see each other. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? SOMEONE TELL ME PLEASE.
A few times I have dreams of foxes. The first was that I was walking in a forest and I saw the sky once I got in a clearing. Then a cloud came down and swirled around me. As the cloud went away I noticed I had paws and four legs. I walked like I had been a fox before. I walked to a puddle and I saw that I was a orange and white fox with black ears and black legs. I had bright blue eyes and a white cloud shaped symbol on my forehead. After the first dream I had dream similar to it.
