I saw two deer in my backyard this morning. One was grazing and the other was lying down on the grass. One of the deer looked into my eyes as if it’s looking into my spirit. I was so entranced by the gaze that I can’t help but look at those beautiful animals.

What I miss is the mention of the deer quality in it’s many forms of appearance. Is my deer a dangerous elk who can even be a threat to grizzlies, or a Caribou who is very useful and strong in numbers, or a Reeve’s Muntjac with it’s tiny size running and hiding from everything? The analysis could be a bit more detailed. Other than that it’s a joy to read description and I found it pointing the right direction.

The only way this relates is intuitiveness/watching the environment around me only until I feel comfortable, I only feel comfortable and generally free of anxiety when no one is around. And also you could say this stuff for anyone honestly. People have been relating to each other and (other things) for hundreds of thousands of years. Humans are afraid of the unknown and un-relatable at this point in time and in the past of human existence. It’s too broad for a precise anything.

This was very accurate. I have loved the woods all my life and love exploring through them. I have encountered a small deer with white spots down it’s nose a few times and I wonder if it’s the same one.

Through my life, I’ve always encountered wild deer. In my childhood backyard, on the sides of the highway my family drove past, in the local bird sanctuary during peak hours by the water’s edge when me and my friends stopped to rest. Once, I went on a hike and stepped on a twig, only to encounter a buck who stood up not three feet in front of me from where it was sleeping behind a bush. This buck stopped and stared at me for a long time, not moving, just watching, as I stared back at him, enthralled by his beauty and power. He was huge, and what I originally thought was some downed branches from a tree were his massive antlers. Then, he just turned, and calmly walked away.

As such, even though deer never show up on personality tests, I am convinced that the deer is a spirit animal of mine. Thank you for this information…it makes too much sense to me.
