The Crow Spirit Animal, a Guide about Fearlessness and Determination
Have you ever watched a group of crows ganging up together and chasing out birds much bigger than they are? This behavior makes the crow a useful animal totem to call when you need support in dealing with adversity. If the crow chose you as your power animal, you are encouraged to develop your personal will power and speak your truth more loudly.
Crows always seem to be able to get away with what they are after, be it a piece of food left on the road or sneaking into other birds’ nests to steal or eat their eggs. Echoing this trait, those with the crow as totem or spirit guide might watch for the tendency to trick or be a bit manipulative.

omg i have been having psychic experiences and they all started when i was 6 when my parents seen a crow standing over my chest while i was asleep on my porch. ever since i would predict deaths, tragedies, and exciting things
We’re in the same boat, nice to know there are more of us out there.
A few years ago I went to the cemetery to my parents grave accompanied by a female friend. Several crows landed in a nearby tree and my friend had taken notice. I told her there were my spirit animal and she just brushed it off as if I was full of it. When we left I said “You don’t believe me about the crows do you?” She just looked at me. I pointed to a tombstone and upon it sat a crow. The name on the tombstone was KELLY, my friends name. She looked and said “Get me out of here.”

I’m having consistantexperiences with the crow…a year or so ago I went to the lake to meditate… and did my own ritual.. and within a few minutes.. 3 crows showed up in the tree next to me…, one flew into the tree I was sitting under.. and looked down at me.. and made a noise as if it were communicating with me… not it’s normal Caw…, and since then.. they’re everywhere I go..,I’m starting to leave food for them now … just as a thankyou. even when I don’t leave anything.. they’re still around.
Whenever a bird comes to you and makes eye contact with you, that means there is a message they wish to communicate to you. The crow may be your animal totem. To find out whether this the case or not, take several of the animal totem quizzes on the internet.
I live on the last street near the woods in my town. There are Evergreens planted by my dad in front of the house. Past the Railroad tracks and what we call the first bank, there are more trees, sometimes there does be 50 or more there and in the trees by the house, and there all cawing, what’s the meaning, are they trying to tell me something?
yes find new house thats their place u loser
All i can say is your reply is that of rudeness and contained no actual HELP as to the comment left, you are VERY rude and need to learn to be thoughtful & show compassion and respect for others!! YOUR response was that of NO HELP to the actual comment, you are so very distrustful, no one deserves or comments with questing for help to receive a THOUGHTLESS inconsiderate comment as yours which has no actual HELP as to the original question/concern! You are one rude, inconsiderate person with little to NO insight as to what the gathering of.the crows in the tree actually mean, so learn the art of biting your tongue, if you can’t say anything nice, say nothing at all!!! Maybe you should do some actual research on the subject, and give a helpful answer Instead of a rude one which is incorrect, misleading, THOUGHTLESS and down right cruel in nature!!!!
You go
Bob, don’t listen to the “anonymous” troll. You are not a loser. Your spirit animals are there to communicate and protect you. Don’t be afraid of them as they are there to help you. You are a winner since your spirit animal is the crow, you are most likely psychic, or a wizard, or a witch, or have divine intuition or any combo of those and in that realm. Be Blessed.
Crows are territorial. The crows on your grass are your crows. New crows don’t fly in the next day and graze for worms on your grass. Adopt them. Their territory consists of just a few blocks north, south, east and west of your house. They will chase off other un-invited crows. Invited crows are fine. Fly overs are fine. My crows go for walks with me and stop at the boundary. To go further entices a Top Gun duel with neighboring crows. They like to buzz my ear as they fly by just barely nicking it with their wings. As a pilot they’d be considered as a Top Gun, Ace Fighter Pilot. Capable of full barrel rolls in a blink of an eye. If you blink you miss it. Enjoy this black gift of life and mystery, and you will feel the rewards.
very nice review of your life experience with this awesome bird! <3
My totem animal is the crow …
you just wikkied that didin t you ???
Recently my mother passed away. We laid her to rest next to my dad in Long Island New York. On the day of the burial my wife and I went to visit the grave site. As we approached the grave site we observed a large black crow flying overhead and making a lot of noise. While at the site we then noticed three other crows had joined the first one. We took it to mean that the first crow was the spirit of my father and he called the spirits of my mother and grand parents to come see us. Any thoughts on this?
I have always had some sort of a connection with crows. I could make this cawing noise that crows would respond to. There have been times when I could call a flock of crows or ravens and they would fly over me. Years ago I called a huge flock that began soaring above me as if they were trying to find out if I was the one who had called them. I also have some attributes that the crows have.
I love it everything can be fixed and everyone is free with their own choices and may choose their own path
I had a very spiritual encounter with a crow recently and I have yet to fully understand the event but I saw a blurb on TV about Ariel views of the TX coastline and the guys name was the last name of a very dear friend that passed on Easter two years ago( who lived on the TX coastline, I am in NY). His first name was the name of the person I was standing next to.
After we left the restaurant we stopped by his shop for a bit and a black crow flew in and perched in my line of sight, silent, stoic and looked at me until I broke eye contact.
I accepted that as a guardian and trusted the events as they unfolded. It was absolutely divine until a couple weeks later. But i read here the bird is of transformative power then the story is so far from over and I suspect there will be a glorious unfolding.
I used to live in NYC a few years ago. My last summer there I began seeing a very large black crow that would sit on a nearby car and stare at me when I walked past. One day, I was coming back with groceries, and the crow began following me up the street. I was afraid he might attack me, so I threw orange juice at him and kicked at him until he flew off. He landed on a car across the street and began crowing loudly at me and stared at me as I walked away from him. 5 months later, I was physically attacked by a girl at work and my landlord’s husband tried to kiss me. My mom begged that I move to be with her in Arizona. Two days after I left, Hurricane Sandy hit.
When his wife’s illness was elevated to “terminal”, my brother began getting visited daily by a murder of crows. They had never been in his area previously, and aren’t stopping in at the other houses. Several days now since she has passed and the crows are still visiting. Only now my brother isn’t at home, I am… I don’t normally live anywhere near here. I’m feeling there is far more to their arrival than just the message of death, and found this page into effort to understand more of their powers. The article and responses have invoked some deep thought, I’m off now to meditate with these birds in hope of receiving more insight. On my awkward phone, but will try to remember to post any profound discoveries. :) _/\_
Crows are one of my spirit totems and spirit guides. They give me advice and warnings and notice of possible distractions and danger. This has been happening my whole life. I’m 42 now and intone with them. They are very high on the intelectual level of birds. They are equals to parrots and eagles. I love birds and believe they are a precious part of life’s existence.
